Pole Design can now supply curtain poles from the Lunar Curtain Pole Range from Jones Interiors. These 28mm metal curtain poles come with a wide choices of brackets and finials to suit any situation. The poles are made from steel and come in high quality contemporary finishes matt nickel, gunmetal, chrome and burnished brass. 

Portiere Rods

Now that the cold nights are drawing why not invest in a luxuriously interlined door curtain to keep the chilly night air away. As well as being totally practical helping to insulate the home and keep fuel bills door curtains add another layer of interest to any interior scheme.

Portiere Rods can be attached to internal or external doors and have a hinged bracket which rises when the door is opened and lifts the curtains off the floor. A solid brass Portiere Rod will be heavy enough to take the heavy weight of  an interlined curtain and the best choice of heading for this type of curtain is a hand French heading.

Wave Curtains

Pole Design now make curtains using the Wave Heading System patented by Silent Gliss.

These unique Wave curtains hand in cascading folds to give a contemporary look to your window. Wave curtains can only be hung fom selected Silent Gliss curtain poles that have the specially adapted Wave Glider Cord. Each glider is joined with a string to give the regimented look that is obtained by using Wave tape. Wave curtains look light and airy made up in voiles especially in a bedroom. They can be hung from Silent Gliss 3840 curtain tracks, Autoglide curtain tracks or any of the Metropole curtain poles (except 23mm). Just select your curtain pole or track and include the assitional glider cord supplement.

All of our curtains are professionally hand finished and made to a high standard. All you need to do is measure for your curtains and choose a fabric. Lightweight flowing fabrics are best. Plain designs work best or free flowing patterned designs. Two fabrics we have worked with recently are Dante and Sasso both from Sanderson. Wave curtains look their best when off the floor about 1cm. Our curtain price includes fabric, lining, all Wave tapes and hooks.

New corded curtain from Integra - the iPole Glyda

The new Integra iPole Glyda with Smooth Draw Technology has just been launched.

The Glyda pole combines the functionality of a track with the contemporary look of a pole and is cord operated. Glyda is available in 4 popular finishes, Brushed Silver, Burnished Brass, High Gloss Black and High Gloss White and four sizes up to 240cm in one piece. It is and easy to fit pole and it can be cut to length for an exact fit.

The cording reduces curtain handling and will keep your newly made curtains in tip top condition for longer. Glyda poles are supplied with regulatory cord weights.
