Creating a layered window treatment with Silent Gliss poles and tracks
The best way to created a layered window treatment is to combine a Silent Gliss Metropole with a Silent Gliss 1090 track.
Many Designers like to place a voile or sheer behind a thicker curtain on a pole to create a layered treatment. Double pole sets can be used but the choice is limited and can be a bit fussy.
The Silent Gliss Metropole can be wall fixed using the extra long bracket. Combine this with a Silent Gliss 1090 track which will sit discreetly behind on a small wall bracket. This allows you to place a voile or light weight curtain behind the pole. We will supply a longer wall bracket for the Metropole to allow the required distance between curtains to allow movement without bunching.
If you are ceiling fixing then allow around 80-100 mm between each pole.
If you would like the longer wall fix bracket for the Metropole, Pole Design will supply this at the same price as the standard bracket.
Please state 0537 bracket at checkout and this will be added to your order free of charge.

New finishes from the Museum Range of Curtain Poles
Take a look at the new modern finishes from our recently updated Museum Curtain Pole range. New soft painted finishes include Greystone and Flagstone designed to work with a neutral palette and would be just at home in a Country Kitchen or Chic Apartment. The inspiration from these new finishes taken from natural materials such as flagstone flooring, granite and slate. The new modern metallic finishes include Satin Oyster which reflect a more contemporary beige gold and Satin Pewter.
Elegant finial styles combine with subtle colours that compliment the flawless detail of the carving. New finial designs such as Vienna and Dune have been introduced to bring this Classic Range of hand crafted curtain poles a new look for 2013.
The production process is based on traditional method combined with modern waxes to give a hard wearing resiliant finish and a subtle lustre that accents current interior and furnishing trends.
